hippobottamus Posted October 5, 2016 Posted October 5, 2016 Hi there, I've found many instructions for using Civil3D to place alignment station markers, but I was wondering if there is similar functionality in Map3D or a LISP routine that accomplishes something similar? Quote
RobDraw Posted October 5, 2016 Posted October 5, 2016 You would have better luck posting in the Map3D forum found in the verticals section. A mod should be by to move this for you, so don't duplicate the question over there. Quote
BIGAL Posted October 6, 2016 Posted October 6, 2016 Depends on what you want chainage.lsp etc works on plines labelling the alignment. If you have an alignment click on it press right buttton mouse the 4th alignment option may be what you want. Or "EditAlignmentLabels" Quote
Murph_map Posted October 6, 2016 Posted October 6, 2016 Map3D does have labeling features, all depends on whaat type of objects you want to label (AutoCAD entities, Map3D feature). If you are working with a Civil3D dwg in Map3D then the station markers are still Civil3D object that you can not edit or get any info from. Just expand on what you are working with and what you want as the end results. Attach images or dwg may help too. Quote

That hit the nail on the head for what I'm looking for. Quote
BIGAL Posted October 26, 2016 Posted October 26, 2016 No worries just finding the right option can be a task. Quote
