(Autocad 2015)

Express Tools is loaded, the Express Tools menu is displayed.

97% or more of the Express Tools work just fine.

Tools -> System Variables (SYSVDLG) does not work (Unknown Command)

Is there a way to manually fix this short of the uninstall/reinstall?

Uninstalling then reinstalling should be the option of LAST resort. Would you run out and buy four brand new tires for your car if just one was low on air?

Try each of these, testing after each one to see if it has fixed it.

Close and restart AutoCAD.

Close and restart Windows.

Check DEMANDLOAD and set to 3 if it is not.

Log into Windows under another profile and check to see if it works.

If you have another computer there where everything is working then compare the Support File Search Path. Options, Files, ... Make changes to your computer if found to be missing somethings.

Sorry ReMark poor analogy. One option is free and relatively quick. The other is not free nor quick or even related. Hate to bust your chops on this but well ;)

I only mentioned the uninstall/reinstall because it was the only solution anyone posted on one post that I found.

I posted the steps I used to get it to work. (see above..)

It was an .arx file that the Express Tools does/did not load automatically for some reason.

Manually loaded and worked fine...

See my second post above...

ReMark...

I'm an old fart....

Uninstall/reinstall is ALWAYS the LAST option...

And even then I don't want to do it!

For too many people it is the FIRST option unfortunately.

My problem is I'll dink around for an hour or two with a problem

before I come to my senses and see what Google has to say...

Youtube is usually stop No. 2...

Nothing wrong with "dinking around" and trying yourself ;)
