remizana Posted August 14, 2016 Posted August 14, 2016 Hi guys I am trying to model a tea table like this: but I do not know how to make the geometry which is below the glass. I appreciate if somebody guides. Quote
ReMark Posted August 14, 2016 Posted August 14, 2016 I would try lofting two different profiles representing the front and back edges of one of the supports. Quote
remizana Posted August 14, 2016 Author Posted August 14, 2016 thanks for the reply I tried so many times , it seems ridiculous, but it is the best I did: I think my problem is with creating the original path (spline).... Quote
ReMark Posted August 14, 2016 Posted August 14, 2016 (edited) Yes, the profile at the narrower end doesn't appear to be correct. Do you have any other views of the table? Maybe a top view? Edited August 14, 2016 by ReMark Quote
remizana Posted August 14, 2016 Author Posted August 14, 2016 WOW!! it is much more better than what I did... could you please explain the steps... This is what i have: Quote
ReMark Posted August 14, 2016 Posted August 14, 2016 (edited) OK, I see from the two new pictures you have added that I would have to modify my profiles as it appears the bases have an additional curve to them which I totally missed. As far as my first attempt goes it was basically what I mentioned to you in my first response to your request for help. I created two profiles and did a loft between them. Nothing very special or unusual about that. Where are you located by the way? Edited August 15, 2016 by ReMark Quote
remizana Posted August 15, 2016 Author Posted August 15, 2016 thank you so much, for the help, please let me know if you come up with a better result. So faraway ...Tehran, Iran:) Quote
ReMark Posted August 17, 2016 Posted August 17, 2016 remizana: Have you made any further progress? Unfortunately I am unable to devote any time to the problem. Quote
ReMark Posted October 3, 2016 Posted October 3, 2016 I believe the OP had the above image only as a reference to work from. Quote
Cad64 Posted October 3, 2016 Posted October 3, 2016 I wonder if he ever figured out how to make that table? Quote
ADSK2007 Posted December 11, 2016 Posted December 11, 2016 here is another "very quick" approach - you can see the steps and modifiers used on right side of the screen Regards Adsk Quote
remizana Posted December 13, 2016 Author Posted December 13, 2016 I think this is very close to the original picture, and a little bit different It is very easy approach . thank you so much Quote

remizana Posted December 19, 2016 Author Posted December 19, 2016 wow!!! excellent. thank you so much , I finally got my answer8) Quote
Gillifr Posted August 23, 2017 Posted August 23, 2017 Well, It seems, that on the photos both "legs" of the table is the same shape, while yours one is pretty correct, one is not... why not duplicate the correct one? Quote
