I wonder if there is an exam simulator or something like that.

Any information is great welcome

Where do you think the "unofficial" questions came from in most instances and why would the questions be any different?

Maybe this will be more to your liking...

The problem with certifications like this is all it proves is you can answer questions. It doesn't prove you can turn out a good drawing without wasting time or effort.

If you're serious consider this a study guide.

if you can answer only becuse you study, thats doesnt mean you are a good drafter.

for pepole like us , Autocad compose most of their live, so becoming certified is only a stamp to your skills.

I don't see the value of an AutoCAD certification. But if you do then go right ahead and take the test. Good luck in obtaining your certification.

I would not be employed with out certification.

The corollary as you point out is that even though im certified, doesn't mean i know jack lol. I've learned a tone since my certification and i learn new stuff just about daily... and the worst part is that none of it is about actually drafting but about program interface... its a hard spot. Im fairly proficient with CAD but my 'portfolio' if you will, is minuscule.

Are you certified professional? it sounds like you have learned in order to get the job you been after?

Can you give me some tips how to get prepared? there is no certification center In my country so I have to fly oversea, I would do that, but there is no option the fail.

The Ascent study guide PDF will tell you what you need to study to get prepared.

Since you are having to travel I might look into how many times you can take it and how close in sequence.

The test it not too difficult. You have to know all aspects of the program. It not just a test on your ability to draw. its also fairly through.

As remark indicated I would go with ascent.

You could probably be ready to take the exam if you have gone through the "fundamentals" and the "essentials" level books
