adding additional alignment 'types'

Hello,

 

I was wondering if anyone knows how to add additional categories for alignment types. Currently there are 5 options available but I would like to further confuse the issue for my folks.

Just want to clarify, you are talking about the types: Centerline, Offset, Misc. yadda yadda??

Sorry, no can do. You can have a prefix based naming convention that would group them alphabetically.

 

From what I understand Civil 3D 2017 lets you make 'folders' for alignments and other things. I haven't looked at in detail yet as we're in production mode at the moment.
