RobDraw Posted June 6, 2016 Posted June 6, 2016 Years ago this variable brought up a dialog box. Is that still available? I use this so seldom that I have trouble remembering the options. Quote
BIGAL Posted June 7, 2016 Posted June 7, 2016 Not quite right ddptype for older versions, maybe 2014 like Rkmcswain above can not test, Autodesk changed the rules at some stage and made it ptype. Or more confusing can use both. Quote
rkmcswain Posted June 7, 2016 Posted June 7, 2016 DDPTYPE was replaced with PTYPE in AutoCAD 2015. You can still use DDPTYPE in 2015-2017 if you use the stock "acad.pgp" file, since the alias is defined in there. [DDPTYPE, *PTYPE] Quote
tombu Posted June 7, 2016 Posted June 7, 2016 When they first started adding Dialog Box commands to AutoCAD they prefixed them all with "DD" to let you know. Since Dialog Boxes, Ribbon Interfaces, and Palettes have become the norm they've dropped that. Now command line only versions of those commands when available are prefixed with "-". Quote
BIGAL Posted June 8, 2016 Posted June 8, 2016 Interesting our 2016 CiV3d says DDPTYPE Unknown command ! Will double check for a diffrent Acad.pgp being loaded. Quote

Obsolete. Executes the PTYPE command. Should probably update a few of our partial CUIX macros instead of waiting until they stop working. Quote
