The Wizard Posted May 23, 2016 Posted May 23, 2016 For those who may not know there is a specific symbol for spotfaces when dimensioning per ASME Y14.5. It is the counterbore symbol with SF inside. There is no such symbol in the gdt.shx font. Does anyone know where I might go to obtain a font that has the spotface symbol? Quote
ReMark Posted May 23, 2016 Posted May 23, 2016 (edited) There are Y14.5 fonts available at the ASME website. One of them (the -2009 version) has what you are looking for. They are TrueType fonts so they can be installed in Windows. You'll also have to download and run the .exe file as well. It took me a while to sort it out but I was able to copy/paste the symbol into my MTEXT editor. Note: It is actually the Y14.5M-2009 font. I forgot the "M" when I typed the above. ReMark, Have not had time to check out the information you provide but it looks like what I need. Maybe if things slow down a bit I will be able to get it uploaded. Quote
