Hi all, anyone have any issues trying to figure exactly what P-F is looking for in the detail drawing C on Plate 5? Im kind of confused as to what they are looking for.

Can we assume this is the same structural project you inquired about yesterday?

yes it is, this is the next plate for detail C sorry about this but I dont think the details are so clear at times.

Did you look at any of the other threads regarding this project?

 

P-F is looking for a detail of the roof at one of the vertical columns showing the cap that covers the top of the column, the vertical metal siding, the concrete roof slab with WWF 6x6, the metal decking that supports the slab and any beams and channels that would be in the immediate vicinity. The clip that secures the channel to the beam should be shown as well as the ceiling tile attached to the bottom of the channel. I'm fairly certain there are images of this detail in the Student Project Questions forum.

Well I basically told you what they are asking to be shown in detail "C". I'd think most of it already appears on one of the building sections you drew previously.
