hlshp Posted April 20, 2016 Posted April 20, 2016 Hi, I am trying to insert arrows etc into my drawing. I have looked on the Net and found some advice that suggests I can do this by going to "Layout" "Tools"... but I cannot locate the "Tools" tab? There is a right click option that says Tool Pallet Group but this states none? I cannot activate it. Is this option not available in 2014Lt? Is there another way of inserting arrows etc? many thanks Quote
Dadgad Posted April 20, 2016 Posted April 20, 2016 It sounds like they are not loaded. Try using CTRL + 3, that is the shortcut to open tool palettes, but I am guessing that won't do it either, if they are not loading. I hope I am wrong about that! Quote
hlshp Posted April 20, 2016 Author Posted April 20, 2016 Hi, Tried that, no luck. I have the disk and had a look I think the only option I saw was to reinstall. I had some problems before activating the software via Autodesk so I want avoid that if possible. Can you advise? Quote
ReMark Posted April 20, 2016 Posted April 20, 2016 I would first try the REPAIR option. If that does not fix the problem you can then try the REINSTALL option. Quote

If on a MAC, check this link https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad-for-mac/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/AutoCAD-for-Mac-does-not-show-the-menu-and-the-Tool-Sets-palette-is-blank.html Quote
Dana W Posted April 20, 2016 Posted April 20, 2016 The only pallets one has in LT are the basic ones that come in the can from AutoDesk. Ctrl+3 should have brought them up, so maybe a repair is in order. Try the Tools selection off the menu bar (see image) first. Quote
