Moving Cogo Point Text - No Tracking/Preview?

When adjusting the text component of Cogo Points on a grading plan, I used to be able to see the exact location of the text as I moved my mouse around.

 

However, something has changed and I can't see where exactly the text will land until I click a new location for it.

 

Is there some setting that's been messed up?

Is DRAGMODE set to "Auto"?

It was set to auto, yes. I tried On/Off/Auto and none fix the issue.

 

So when dragging the text around, I have a dotted line that represents the direction of travel, but the text itself does not display again until I click a new location.

 

The same issue happens when drawing circles. A line shows the radius, but no preview of the circle.
