Einteriordesigner Posted March 9, 2016 Posted March 9, 2016 When I open up a new project I want the ribbon to be across the top of the page but it'a only letting me move it to the right and left. Is this something that can be fixed. See images for examples I found Quote
ReMark Posted March 9, 2016 Posted March 9, 2016 There is no .NET nor is there a Ribbon in the Mac version of AutoCAD. Why? Because the Apple Overlords had to be appeased. AutoCAD (PC) vs. AutoCAD for Mac features comparison. http://www.autodesk.com/products/autocad/compare/compare-platforms Quote
nukecad Posted March 9, 2016 Posted March 9, 2016 I don't know much about Autocad for Mac but you may find this of interest- https://macacad.wordpress.com/ Quote
f700es Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 Man, that OSX multiple window interface just kills me. Such blatant waste of space. Quote
ReMark Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 No worse than populating one's screen with a plethora of toolbars, drop-down menus and the Dashboard (remember that little gem?) and throw in the Layer Properties Manager, Design Center and Properties palette and you got a full house. Quote
f700es Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 I actually liked the Dashboard. So easy to populate it with your tools. With r2008 I had the menubar, 2 rows of toolbars, a collapsed properties panel and the dashboard. More drawing space than I have now with r2015. Quote
