Daniel_Abreus Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 I'm trying trimming the circle cutted by a line, see in dwg file in attachment, but I can't do that .I'm working in front view, but the cube indicates top view.Circle and line are in xy plane, why trim didn't work, is it a bug?I type trim, I select the line so the circle, and it doesn't work.Note:I rotated the axes before. bug_3.dwgFetching info... ReMark Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 (edited) Works fine for me just like the other drawing you posted. Same thing...different drawing. Tell us, what is the system variable PROJMODE set to at the moment? Look at this (source: CAD Addict)... In the future, please do not post basically the same question multiple times (three in two different forums). If you don't like an answer you have received wait five minutes and just like the weather in New England something different will soon come along. Thank you. Edited February 19, 2016 by ReMark Quote
Daniel_Abreus Posted February 19, 2016 Author Posted February 19, 2016 Sorry for doing that . I liked so much the answers in previous post .I thought my question would be more suitable in beginer's area, since I don't assure that this is a bug.I won't do this anymore, I didn't know that is against the rules. But the command should work, even projmode set zero, since circle and line are coplanar Anyway, I tested what you suggest, you are very right. My "projmode" was set [0], when I turned It [1] I was able to trim the figure.Thank you, problem solved. =) Quote
ReMark Posted February 20, 2016 Posted February 20, 2016 When a question is posted multiple times it can lead to split conversations which makes following a particular thread frustrating. Glad to hear that your problem seems to have been solved. Thanks for updating us. Quote
RobDraw Posted February 20, 2016 Posted February 20, 2016 I mentioned PROJMODE in one of the other threads. I guess it wasn't the solution for the other very similar drawing. Quote
