How do I extrude on an angle?

I'm making an Audi R8 as a project but how can I extrude an arc on an angle? I'm trying to extrude from the top view to make the body side arcs.

I'm really green at this myself, but I think maybe check out 3D sketches. Make a path (arc) and then extrude along the arc.

I'd create a plane at the correct angle and extrude from there.

attach an image? maybe taper angle extrusion you mean? its on the second tab in the extrude dialog box
