Cannot create hatch in one file

Hi,

in one single file I cannot create hatches any more doing this:

- hatch

- select closed item

- see it activated but not filled

- enter

- select closed item to check for hatch, but not created

 

I can It used to work but not now.

for me the file seems to be corrupted. Is there a way out except copying all in a new file?

Attach a copy of the drawing to your next post and someone here will take a look at it. Indicate what area is to be hatched and with what pattern.

Set FILL On?

 

 

Hatches do not appear if fill mode is set to OFF.

Hi,

Fill was on.

At the moment hatching works again as it should after

 

- saving the file under another name

- setting fill off and on again

- changing visibility off all layers off and on again

 

Still not trusting but I can work again.

Hi,

found the reason:

hatch properties had a non visible layer defined.

Make all layers visible was the solution.
