Ckru Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 Hi, I`m not sure if this is the right forum for this question, but I`ll give it a try; I want to animate Autocad 2D drawings from an automated process plant. The drawings contains instruments in a PLC process plant, and I want to visualize status of sensors, valves etc.. Is it possible to set up autocad drawings with datapoints to change colors, show values etc ? Quote
BIGAL Posted November 6, 2015 Posted November 6, 2015 In real simple answer you can make slides and do a slide show, you can do delays etc a bit like Microsoft Publish but use Autocad. This is technology from years ago, I would have to look up the help big hint! Quote
techberth Posted January 28, 2019 Posted January 28, 2019 I was searching for the same but with VBA animation got a simple tutorial at http://www.computeraidedautomation.com/article/animation-using-autocad-vba and a demo video https://www.youtube.com/watch?reload=9&v=d3cviYSX4tg seems good to give it a try but instead of lines and circles, you can use the blocks (machine components, valves, sensors etc) to animate sorry for the late reply!!!
