Inyenzi Posted November 2, 2015 Author Posted November 2, 2015 oh i will be printing it on A4 paper. really sorry for all the troubles Quote
Dana W Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 OK, I set layout1 tab up to print to A4 as a pdf. To print hard copy, you can either print the pdf after it is generated, or change the pdf plotter to your plotter name in the page set up manager. MEK 1.dwg PLAN.pdf Quote
Dana W Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 Here is a picture with the things in red rectangles you need to choose in order to plot. Quote

Dana W Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 See post #22. I edited in the attachments. I clicked the submit button too soon the first time. Now, after you get this submitted, come back and feel free to ask anything about how to get these drawings done properly. Quote

The metric one is named acadiso.dwt, and the imperial template is acad.dwt. Then save the template right away as a dwg file named anything you wish. Quote

Dana W Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 If you are drawing in metric, start by opening the metric drawing template instead of the imperial template. Then save the template right away as a dwg file named anything you wish.To expand on this, once you have the STYLE content of a dwg file the way you want it, you can save it as a template (dwt) file so you don't have to rebuild your dimension, and text styles, and your basic layer, and lineweight properties for every drawing.
