bjenk8100 Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 Mt laptop at home is setup perfectly. At work, I still have to tweek stuff around. Most is all good except one little quirk. I choose to use 2014 while there because my pc is having issues with the latter. My only real profile issue at this point is that I cant figure out how to set the background outside the paper space. What I mean is, outside the box where you work there is a background that does not move. My laptop, the ps box is set to white for preference and the outer is set to like a grey shade or so. At work both the box and outer background are both white. You would probably say change paper space box to black. That is not what I want to do. I like MS black and PS white. I just need background outside ps box a darker color. Reason, if I move my mouse outside the ps box (white) to the background area (white) my mouse dissapears. This is annoying. I lose it sometimes. I want it liek the attached image. At work that entire screen is white. Quote
ReMark Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 You can change that paper space background to any color you want via Options > Colors. I thought we covered all this previously. Quote
Dana W Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 You always have been able to change the paper color, which AutoDesk for some reason calls "Background", but prior to 2015 (I think) one cannot change what AutoDesk calls the "Paper Background" which is the window background outside of the paper image, beyond the Light or Dark color schemes. In 2015, I can make that area any color. I keep my paper image black and my window background (Paper Background) 36,36,36 so I can see the edge of the black paper. Quote
