rebuilding
Hi, I have been trying to reduce the number of drawing files in my title list as it can take for ever to find the one I require. Is there a way of deleting those that are no longer required? and thereby making my file locating easier.
Dana W
Are you talking about the "Recent Drawings" that come up on your newly opened AutoCad window? Like right here in the red box?
rebuilding
Hi Dana, no not that list, the list that you get when you press the 'open file' tab on the menu bar. Then when you tap one of the files on the list you get a thumb nail picture of that drg. to the right.
ReMark
Maybe you should concentrate on better organizing your files? How are you doing it now? Please don't say that you are dumping every drawing into one catch-all folder.

If there are "too Many" drawings in that folder or any other, like Remark said, they will have to be better organized within Windows explorer, not AutoCad. rkmcswain
You can also click Tools > Find in the upper right corner of the Open dialog to Search for drawings by name and/or date modified.
