cadman9339 Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 we are use autocad 08 and 07 full versions. my issue is when I use mtext or dtext for a call out or a note on my drawing, and I close the drawing with everything looking good, when we open it on our other machine the orientation is opposite so right is now left, so now some of the notes, not all of the text is not were it should be. If any one has any ideas please let me know. I'm not sure if this is do to a variable on the second machine or something else, we haven't change the text style and have used the same one for the past 12 years. Quote
ReMark Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 Did you bother to look at the MIRRTEXT system variable? What font is being used? Quote
cadman9339 Posted July 29, 2015 Author Posted July 29, 2015 mirrtext is set to "0" on both machines, and the text is archsing but that hasnt changed in 12 plus years Quote
ReMark Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 The font name (not the style name) is archsing? Can't say I've heard of it. Quote
cadman9339 Posted July 29, 2015 Author Posted July 29, 2015 it's our standard that the owner has used for a long time. Quote
SLW210 Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 Are you sure that is the Font Name and not the Text Style Name? (See Image Below) Like ReMark, I have never heard of nor could I find that Font. Make sure the Backwards is not checked in the Text Style Format Box (command: Style) (See Image Below) P.S. Did you compare the UCS, etc? Quote
