burkecorp Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 If possible I'd like to jave someone advise how I can split a drawing along a line or axis. For example if I have a house plan I'd like to be able to split the plan along a reference line by a certain distance and then extend the lines to meet again once the reference line is deleted if possible? ReMark Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 What exactly are you trying to accomplish? Are you attempting to stretch the floor plan a certain distance? Quote
burkecorp Posted July 28, 2015 Author Posted July 28, 2015 yes I'm trying to split a building along a reference line then move everything say above that line a certain distance and delete the reference line and join the split lines back together. Quote
ReMark Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 Sounds like way too much work. Just use the STRETCH command to stretch the building the required distance. Quote
burkecorp Posted July 28, 2015 Author Posted July 28, 2015 yes it looks as though that option may work. as my login suggests I'm only a newbie and i really appreciate your help all the way here in australia Quote

Work on the copy drawing, then if it works, "save as" the original name. Quote
