In Autocad 2015 when I move cursor around, a path tracing cursor remains in the monitor which is annoying.

Is there anyway to turn off this capability?

Unless it is new to 2015, it is not an AutoCAD setting.

If you are seeing trails outside of AutoCAD, that would be an OS setting. In Windows, it is found in your mouse settings.

If trails are off in the OS, it is probably a hardware issue.

Are you talking about the tracking vectors? If so, leave them on. Once you figure out what they can do, you will not be able to live without them.

Dear Dana

Could you please let me know what is tracking vectors?

What you show in the images has nothing to do with tracking vectors. I think you have a display problem.

Those are not tracking vectors.

That is a graphics problem with your computer.

...or it's what ReMark said.

Yup, no tracking vectors are doing that. We'll leave the vectors for after you get this problem solved. You won't be able to see them anyway. This is definately a video card or video driver, or even a mechanical issue with the monitor screen.

Display Problem

Glad to find the proper word to describe my problem.

What should I check to find out what is the cause of this problem.

Later I have to find a solution to fix this problem.

Does you computer use an onboard graphics chip or a dedicated graphics card?

Dear Remark

All I know about my laptop's graphics is: It is AMD, Radeon Graphics.

I hope this will help.

I thought changing screen resolution might solve the problem. This is the screen shot for resolution.

It says:Your resolution is lower than 1280x960.

But inside the box the maximum value to choose is 1366x768 and it is chosen.

How can I change this setting?

Try updating the driver. If that doesn't solve the problem, a harware upgrade would be in order.

System's data are as follows:

Lenovo G510

AMD Radeon Garphics

Processor Intel® Core™ i3-4000M CPU @ 2.40GHz 2.40 GHz

Installed memory (RAM) 4.00 GB

System type 64-bit OS, x64-based processor

Dear Rob

You mean, I should update the driver for Graphic Card?

I don't have CDs or files for update.

If this is the solution, first I have to look for updating driver in the Lenovo site.

A thought, Should it be a problem of bad installation?

I left everything to default and system's own choice.

STOP! It is not a problem related to a bad install. Why do so many people jump to the wrong conclusion immediately?

You have minimal RAM and an onboard graphics chip that when pressed to its limits can lead to problems.

The latest drivers (assuming there is one) are available at the Lenovo website.

Dear ReMark

Thanks for your continuous support as always.

By updating drivers, you mean I look for Graphic drivers in Lenovo site. Am I correct?

Try SLW210's advice first. If you have no luck then try the Lenovo site.
