Hi

I am quite new to AutoCAD, I have 2015 version and a 4K res screen (don't know if it is related...)

The font of the commands I press appears very big

how can I make it smaller?

I attached a print screen photo as an example

Hi and welcome to the forum!

Go to Options (right-click on the commandline and choose Options or type OPTIONS) and on the Display-tab, click the Fonts-button and change the Size of your text.

thanks

that solved it

one more thing, when I work 3D the the buttons that appear on the right (pan, orbit etc') seem also very small.

where can I change this?

looked for some thing also in the options but couldn't find.

That's funny. I was just looking for an AutoCAD prank to play on someone. I think I just found it.

I got a new laptop with 4K screen and a lot of things are not right

Please pay no mind my previous pondering post.

Except for the command line text, everything else in your screen shot looks normal. If you made a big jump in resolution when you upgraded, the smallness is probably due to that and totally normal. If you are unable to adjust, you may want to decrease the resolution on your monitor. (It hurt typing that.)

RobDraw try using the system variable PICKADD as a prank. Type it in and set it to zero (0). They should have fun with that one. :winner: :celebrate:
