Attila The Gel Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 I was just curious if it can be possible to draw in post new thread! with that I mean like a simple draw. Like msn has whiteboard? real simple pencil and eraser! Again, out of curiosety this is. Quote
Strix Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 Is it a known hack on vBulletin boards elsewhere? if it's a useful hack, David is usually happy to have a look at the option of adding it Quote
Attila The Gel Posted December 23, 2008 Author Posted December 23, 2008 http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?p=1667388 Freedraw: http://www.geocities.com/jnkjavaconnection/freedraw.html Quick google got me this but I dont know much about these things Quote
Attila The Gel Posted December 23, 2008 Author Posted December 23, 2008 Don't know? how do you control the .jpg attachements? I thought the drawing would automatically create a small .jpg and attach it? Quote
Tankman Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 You could try this magical pencil if inclined! Sorry, couldn't resist, back to thread. Quote
Lee Mac Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 This would be a good addition to CADtutor, sometimes it is so annoying having to draw something in paint and save it (making sure it is not too large!) and then having to upload it... This would make life much easier! Quote
MaxwellEdison Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 But there's no constraints on the lines! How am I supposed to draw anything with it, pull out my T-Square under my mouse? And where are the linetypes! Can I make blocks, or am I limited to draconian copy/pasting. I'm kidding of course, but I do wonder how many people on this forum in particular would stress over a slightly crooked line in something like that. Quote
ReMark Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 Can't...stand...crooked...lines...must...use...s t r a i g h t e d g e. Quote
Attila The Gel Posted December 23, 2008 Author Posted December 23, 2008 It would be timesaving, like in autocad everything is made so that we can draw fast, faster much faster! But when it comes to posting an attachent ... (what Lee Mac sead!) Quote
ReMark Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 Can we get an online version of Etch-a-Sketch? Have you ever seen what a master with one of those contraptions can draw? Freakin' amazing! Quote
Strix Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 well how's about we use this, then post the screen shots? btw - moved this thread into 'feedback' Quote
ReMark Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 Thanks Strix. That website will be my undoing. I'll be up all night etching a sketching! Or should that be sketching a etching? Quote
MaxwellEdison Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 Just be sure you don't start shaking your monitor, that goes double for a laptop! Quote
Attila The Gel Posted December 23, 2008 Author Posted December 23, 2008 This is insane! I had one of those never ever thought that this was possible with those things:?. Menkind can do amaizing things, sometimes I think we ARE the aliens on this planet?? http://images.google.be/images?hl=nl&q=Etch-a-Sketch&btnG=Afbeeldingen+zoeken&gbv=2 Quote
Lee Mac Posted December 24, 2008 Posted December 24, 2008 Wow That looks amazing! - must've taken a while to draw. I'd laugh if the guy had dropped the Etch-a-Sketch after drawing it, only to find the drawing erased.... Quote
ReMark Posted December 24, 2008 Posted December 24, 2008 There is actually a process by which the image can be saved. I recall reading about it but I cannot recall exactly what the process was. I think it had to do with opening up the back of the Etch-a-Sketch and removing something. Quote
Lee Mac Posted December 28, 2008 Posted December 28, 2008 Yeah, that sounds reasonable, its probably pretty simple to figure out what to remove when you take one of those apart - probably just a magnet that runs across the screen when you shake it... Quote
MaxwellEdison Posted December 29, 2008 Posted December 29, 2008 All of your Etch-a-sketch questions answered here!!! Also it seems this thread was quite expertly hijacked by nostalgia... Quote
