Cannot Delete Points - Unknown Icon in Points-Toolspace

Hi forums,

 

 

I came across some points that could not be deleted from my job and in the points toolspace they look like this:

 

 

These points can't be deleted, burst or exploded and they are block references that don't exist in the block edit list. I have never seen the red crossed-out icon before and am puzzled by what it is.

 

 

Any knowledge would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!

the red icon indicates the point is locked. pick, right-click, unlock and delete.
