When I print cad drawing that contains a hatch with dots (sand) as pdf using dwg to pdf printer and output on paper, hatch disappears. Also hatch disappears when zooming 125% on pdf

Is there a question that you didn't ask?

an empty rectangle on a piece of paper in not interesting to me. so question is: how to tweak settings to make hatch appear again?

Do not zoom to 125%. It's visible at larger and smaller scales.

Have you tried any other PDF plotters?

Thicken up the hatch lineweight and retry. The Hatch does not disappear when I zoom in Bluebeam Revu. The printer you're sending it to may not be able to handle the "dots" at a fine lineweight. So up the print resolution or adjust the lineweight of the hatch so that it's "bold".

yes, i tried three different cad plotters, also acrobat viewer and pro. all same results. the problem is when other people who will get the file and print it for review won't see the hatch. one work around that i print as image for internal review

I don't get it. Why are they printing at 125%?

they are not printing at 125%. sorry for confusion. I have same observation (hatch disappears) when both reviewing at 125% and printing on paper.

This appears to be some sort of bug as it shows at larger and smaller zoom factors. Simple answer, do not use 125%.
