cancer24 Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 Hello everyone. I have this pattern and the window, represented by the orange arch shape, I want to delete everything outside the arch shape.... I can go and use the trim command, but that's time consuming, is there any way to do this quickly? forums 1.dwg Quote

eldon Posted April 12, 2015 Posted April 12, 2015 Yes, I thought of the EXTRIM command, but it did not work completely when I tried it. If you set the polyline width to zero, then you can see the points of the star shapes were not trimmed. But you only have 11½ repetitions of the pattern, so it won't take long to trim everything. CADTutor Posted April 12, 2015 Posted April 12, 2015 Try using the Trim command with the Fence selection type to trim all lines crossing the window outline. Then erase the remaining lines using a standard window selection. Quote
