3D scanning, best scanner?

Hi folks,

I would like to figure out a way to scan parts I have into 3D models straight into autocad models. Is this easily doable with affordable hardware?

I see a few 3d scanners out there, some of them handheld, but they seem to have fairly low reviews around.

Otherwise maybe there are places that provide 3d scanning with professional hardware for a fee?

I have 2 sets of parts, one set is small up to 10", another up to 20".
