andar424 Posted March 24, 2015 Posted March 24, 2015 I've seen it done before, but it has been awhile. I have an assembly that I dropped another assembly in that has a few items I want to call out on the BOM and balloon them on the print. How do you expand the assembly in the BOM to do so? Quote

Make that subassembly Phantom, this promotes those components in the bill one level up in the design. 2. Go to View Details and choose to view all levels and choose a delimiter like a - or a . so you would have subassembly 5 and 5.1, 5.2, 5.2 etc... Quote

Using option one gets rid of that assembly on the BOM all together, and I still want to be able to have a balloon for the overall assembly and then call out the wear items on this purchased component.
