rhgrafix Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 I searched the universe and can't find this answer, Sometimes I find an existing dimension where one end has the node that has been collapsed to the tip of the arrow, I can't figure out how to pull it back off the arrow tip. I use 2011, any ideas? Thanks! R.L. Hamm Quote
SLW210 Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 I moved your thread to the AutoCAD 2D Drafting, Object Properties & Interface Forum. If I understand you correctly, just grab the grip on the dimension text and move it, you should now have an extension line. If that doesn't work, the extension line may be turned off, check using properties. If you still can't get it, post a .dwg that has this behavior. Quote

nestly Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 Following along with SLW's comments, does this illustrate the problem? .... a solution? Quote
SLW210 Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 I also forgot to mention, you may also need to select "Keep Dimline with text" under Fit Options. Quote
