The Wizard Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 I have spent the last 2.5 hours searching The Web trying to find .dwg file showing the front and rear view of a Dell 790 Personal Computer with no luck. Does anyone know of a site where I might down load for free such a drawing? Even a 3D AutoCAD model will work. Quote
tzframpton Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 Download the images, import them and trace over the image to create your own. This could have been done in less than the 2.5 hours you spent looking to be honest. This type of specific need usually requires the person in search to do it themselves. Quote
ReMark Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 Found this 3D Dell PC while nosing around another website. Quote
tzframpton Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 Wow good find Mark. I'm impressed that it actually exists. Quote
ReMark Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 (edited) Thanks. Sometimes we just get lucky. Not sure it meets the OP's requirement though. This block can be found here....http://www.cadforum.cz/catalog_en/ Search criteria: Dell computer Block name: DELL_PC_3d Edited March 11, 2015 by ReMark Quote
dbroada Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 I always do the same as Tannar. The Dell(UK) site used to have good enough images to trace in sufficient detail for most tasks. Quote
f700es Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 Here is the product in question... Actually it is the same chassis as my Optiplex 9020 Quote
f700es Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 OK, I was bored. Dell-970.dwg Rendered in SU-Maxwell Quote

Handiman Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 http://www.google.com Entered Dell 790 Computer Search Results- About 618,000 results (0.51 seconds) Selected Images from the top of the page. Not the best resolution, hundreds more where I found this one. Quote
ReMark Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 Finding an image wasn't the problem though. The OP was looking for an AutoCAD drawing file in 2D although he'd settle for 3D. Quote
Handiman Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 Yeah I was going on how easy to draw in less time used searching. Of coarse he didn't expect to search for that length of time. Quote
