z_i_nayon
I have some work to do. What i have to do is create a line middle of every wall. like the 2nd pic. Is there any way to create midline between all walls at a time?? -- thank you.
ReMark
There is no command native to AutoCAD that is going to do that. I think you need to be looking at a custom lisp routine similar to Lee Mac's Dynamic Offset (with Center option) but I'm pretty sure it won't do all the walls in one shot. http://lee-mac.com/dynamicoffset.html
nestly
I'm going to say it's not possible to automatically create centerlines if the "walls" are just AutoCAD lines/polylines. I don't know how many drawings you have to do, but with Polar and Osnap tracking, it seems like only about 10-15 minutes to do it manually, perhaps a bit longer depending on whether the lines should be broken at the doorways (some are and some aren't in the 2nd pic)
BIGAL
I did something like this but exactly the opposite draw walls based on single lines quickly room layouts. A idea though would be work this way pick inside drag 2nd point outside go around room any shape in order inside then outside picking the two walls, you are building a 4 line answer with a resultant mid line filleted as a result. The mid crossing would require pick the two outside mid lines then again drag over the two wall lines. This takes into account various size wall thickness also. Sorry no code at this point. z_i_nayon
Those works are really big. each one take nearly 12+ hour to complete. BTW thanks for your opinions.
