Use a unicode or a symbol if utilizing MultiLine Text.

Witch unicode remark? The @ symbol? Let me try that

My bad. I should have said control code which for the diameter symbol is %%c. The unicode for diameter would be \U+2205.

 

If you are using MText you can also insert it via the Symbol option.

Did you try %%c

And If you go to your help file and search for (special character symbol) you see them all with their corresponding unicode strings.
