Hi everyone,

I have a problem with a following lisp. I want to place parts on strip, but just don't a single row. Because if it is single row utilization ratio is very low, scrap ratio is very high as seen second image. I want to add up and down the parts when increase the width as seen in the image.

If I give a value more than the thickness of the strip 2, it gives error. How can fix that. I need your help on this matter. Thanks in advance for your help.

This type of problem (reducing waste) seems better suited to being solved using a nesting program rather than writing a custom lisp routine.
