shift1313 Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 well im a relative novice when it comes to rendering. i just clicked a bunch of buttons until this looked right:) Quote
rustysilo Posted December 18, 2008 Author Posted December 18, 2008 Why does the lighting intensity seem to change when you render from different perspectives and/or positions? Quote
shift1313 Posted December 18, 2008 Posted December 18, 2008 maybe your seeing the reflection in a certain viewing angle? Quote
rustysilo Posted December 19, 2008 Author Posted December 19, 2008 I guess so. It renders brighter in some places. If I'm zoomed in looking straight at the object(s) it is a little dim, then after zooming out some it gets brighter. If I change to another perspective it appears more dim too. I guess the reflection of the light is stronger or weaker depending on where you're looking at it from. That makes sense, but then if you actually want a render from another perspective you have to change the lighting. Quote
shift1313 Posted December 19, 2008 Posted December 19, 2008 you can try creating a room around the logo and playing with the material on the walls to reflect or absorb light. Quote
