boukes Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 This is the weirdest thing I have seen since starting on Autocad 18 years ago. I am using Autocad LT, I drew a detail in model space and added a viewport. But in my viewport the detail looks completely different. Any help will be appreciated. Cheers Martin Quote
nestly Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 Your concern is primarily the missing dimensions... is that correct? if so, that's likely because the dimensions are Annotative and the Viewport and Dimensions don't have matching scales. Quote
martinb Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 Hi Nestly, Thanks for the reply, I don;t use annotative dimensions and I am using the normal template I have always used. I will also google it a bit more, I just needed to get the project out so was forced to explode the dimensions. Quote
ReMark Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 Maybe the layer your dimensions are on has been frozen in the viewport. Exploding dimensions is not really a good practice to follow. Quote
Dana W Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 I've had similar display issues with 2015 LT, and a regenall usually fixes it. My graphics card is a bit limited so it can forget things, unless nudged. Quote
martinb Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 yeah I know I never do but I needed to get the project out and did not have time to search for an answer. The layer is not frozen in the viewport, that is the first thing I checked. Quote
ReMark Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 Then it has to be an annotative problem. Quote
SLW210 Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 Erase all but the problem dimensions and post your drawing here. Quote
jvanabel Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 although you don't use annotative dimensions, is it possible that they are or have annotative properties? If so, hit your annotation visibility next to your annotation scale bottom right of your tray. Quote
