lilymayoung Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 Hi, I'm new here, in fact I signed up just to ask this. I've been using Autocad 2014 on my Windows 8 laptop with no problems, until I had to have the hard drive replaced, then the technicians upgraded my OS to Windows 8.1. Autocad seems to be working just fine, however I'm experiencing some clicking problems: 1. Copy command - When I select multiple objects, I have to click twice before I can select anything. Nothing happens on the first click. 2. Move command - When I move objects, I like to click on empty space as a base point. however, it doesn't work. Any ideas? Thanks. Lily Quote

lilymayoung Posted December 10, 2014 Author Posted December 10, 2014 Have you tried setting PICKFIRST to ? Hi, Thanks for your reply. Pickfirst setting was already set to . I Think I'll try and re-install it and see what happens. Quote
CADMASTER1128 Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 You can also reset AutoCAD to it's default setting's without reinstalling it. Quote

BlackBox Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 FWIW - This is the reason why many export their Profile, and backup to thumb drive, Google Drive, etc. once 'setup' the way they like... So that in the event of a disaster, OS upgrade, etc. they can simply import their Profile, and get back to work in short order. Cheers Quote
