Hello all,

I created points on an Alignment by Importing ASCII File.(Station, Offset, Elevation format).Like this,

0,-10,104.003

0,-6.7,104.015

0,-4,104.026

0,-1.5,104.045

0,0,104.007

0,2,104.041

0,4.7,104.102

0,8.7,104.152

0,9,104.168

10,-5.6,103.629

10,-4.3,103.598

10,-4,103.449

10,-3.5,103.345

10,-1.4,103.426

10,0,103.463

10,1.7,103.448

10,3.2,103.314

10,7.5,103.29

20,-4.6,103.203

20,-3.8,103.15

20,-3.4,103.076

20,-3,103.097

20,-2.45,103.238

20,-1,103.255

20,0,103.259

20,3.6,103.172

20,4,103.265

Then using surface and sample lines cross sections are generated.

They I need to add above points (those are at ASCII file) elevations and offsets to the section view as data bands.

But I can't figure out how to do it.I can only add elevations at regular intervals.

Really appreciate any help.

Thanks.

Need to add elevations and offset of red circled points.

Thanks for reply.

If you brought the points in as COGO points, you should be able to project them to your section view group so that they show up in all of the sections along a given alignment. Then you can create a label style that shows offset/elevation, label all points through the section view properties and just drag the labels down so that they appear to be part of the band. There may be an easier way, but I think that's probably the general workflow to accomplish what you're looking for.

In Section View Properties put the "Weeding" = 0 and you will see the elevations and offset of red circled points. If you want elevations and offset of red circled points ONLY, without any other points,  put "Minnor and Major Interval" a big number, perhaps  greater than the width of section e.g. 500.00m.
