yohanf Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 I have used the option in "Drafting" - "Replace Z value with current elevation" with no problem. However, recently (I believe after our company switched to AutoCAD Architecture) I have found a problem where even though I set the elevation, sometimes my objects are inserted at elevation 0. And this always happens when the coordinate axes seem to "appear" at the elevation point. Please see the image below for what I mean. So now, if I complete drawing this line, it will be at 0 elevation instead of the elevation I have set it at. To get rid of it, some times I need to close the drawing and reopen it, or sometimes even copy the drawing to a new drawing. Would someone please be able to explain to me what's causing this and how I can get rid of it? Quote
yohanf Posted November 27, 2014 Author Posted November 27, 2014 SOLVED! Turns out with further research and googling with my question in different ways, it turns out that "Dyanmic UCS" was turned on. Turning that off solved the problem Quote
