lkenshalo Posted October 31, 2014 Posted October 31, 2014 I'm having an issue where batch plot to PDF only prints the first sheet. it will work if I have every sheet open that I'm printing but I'd really like to figure this out so i don;t have to do that. I've batch plotted successfully from this version(2015 Autocad) many times and I can still batch plot correctly in my 2014 version. thanks in advance for any info. Quote
Dana W Posted October 31, 2014 Posted October 31, 2014 There has to be a sheet list open in the sheet window, one listing for every sheet you want, as far as I know. You can save sheet lusts for later use and print those without having to open the drawings manually. Can you furnish more details of exactly what you want to accomplish? Perhaps using sheet sets would work better. Quote
lkenshalo Posted October 31, 2014 Author Posted October 31, 2014 I'm doing everything as i always have - setting up a sheet layout for the first sheet, using the batch command, adding the sheets to the list and then applying the set-up from the first sheet to all sheets. I've done this a million times, no clue why it isnt working now. I've tried playing around with a few system variables(pulishallsheets, publishcollate, etc..) with no luck. Quote
Dana W Posted November 1, 2014 Posted November 1, 2014 What does your plot log or the balloon notice tell you? What does this have to do with it, again? it will work if I have every sheet open that I'm printing but I'd really like to figure this out so i don;t have to do that. Quote
Deyn Posted July 7, 2020 Posted July 7, 2020 I'm having the exact same issue that tlkenshalo describes, but mine is from previously using AutoCAD 2015, and now using AutoCAD 2020. When I batch plot in 2020, I need to open every dwg file in order for all my batch plots to plot, unlike previously where all I had to do was open one, load the rest in the Publish Manager, and all would plot. If I don't open all my dwg files in AutoCAD and just in the Publish Manager, only the first sheet plots. Very frustrating, so help on this would greatly be appreciated. Mahalo in advance. -D- Quote
tourist Posted August 13 Posted August 13 In my case, the page setup was not configured properly; I needed to edit the page setup so that it extents snaps to the page layout area. Quote
