Hollyfeld Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 (edited) Good Morning, I have been having this issue for awhile now and I'm just getting around to posting about it. The autocad files come from my moonlighting job and the company is using AutoCAD 2012, I am on 2014. This issue only happens with files from this company. If you look at the screenies, you will notice that when I double-click to edit the text, a space (about the width of a TAB) appears just after the colon. I cannot remove this space without removing the word that the colon is attached to. I then retype the word and the colon and the space goes away, but if I go to edit it again, the same thing happens. How can I prevent this from happening? I'm assuming it's a setting somewhere. Thanks for the help Edited October 10, 2014 by Hollyfeld clarification Quote
SLW210 Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 Could you post a drawing file with the troublesome Text? Quote
RobDraw Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 Every time I look at the subject line, I think to myself, "Why would you want to edit text with your colon?" Sorry, I couldn't hold it back any longer. Quote
lrm Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 Is the 6X12 ... note a separate text object that is center justified? If so, just change it to right justification. Quote
