This simple tutorial about using Grips in AutoCAD should get you started. For further information consult your AutoCAD Help file. Do you know how to do that?

You might also benefit from the purchase of a good after-market AutoCAD book. Many such books can be found via Amazon. I'd recommend the series by George Omura published by Sybex.
