Most users on this forum are well aware of Lee Mac's programming skills.

You may expect his program to be working nearly as good as possible.

If anyone disagrees, then you will read that in posts below.

 

The ProTools solution is unknown to me but I'd say that it does the same job.

However, I do not know the code or the coder so can't tell if it is better / worse.

 

I would try the freeware just like Asos suggests.

Without seeing the source code for the ProTools program, I could not offer any advice as to the difference between my application and the similar application offered on the Exchange App Store.

 

However to clarify, please note that the application referred to on the Exchange App Store is completely unrelated to the program published on my site, and as far as I am aware, was developed independently of my program.

 

In general, I would say that open-source code may be considered safer, as the author has nothing to hide
