Newton his Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 Hello all, Just started working for a company that does all it's drawings in Arris. Going to start migrating to autocad 2015. Wanted to know best way of transferring drawings between the two programs. I am very new to autocad. Thanks for the help. Quote
ReMark Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 What version of ArrisCAD is the company using? I see that ArrisCAD is a full featured 2D and 3D CAD program. Will your company be migrating to the full version of AutoCAD? I ask because AutoCAD LT does not have full 3D capability. According to the Arris Encyclopedia, under the heading Expert Translator, the Expert Infocad DWG/DXF Translator plugin "may be used to import and export your Arris drawings from/to DWG and DXF format." It goes on to say that the translator must be purchased separately. For further, detailed information refer to the Arris Encyclopedia pages 266 to 292. Quote
