afrazawan Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 I have created some shape file so when Im copying my file one system to another PC my .shp file missing so how can I load my custom Shape in drawing plz Quote
ReMark Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 (edited) When it comes to loading your shape file don't overlook the obvious... use the LOAD command. The location of your shape files should match that of the other PC. Include the location in AutoCAD's support file search path. Edited September 22, 2014 by ReMark changed command name Quote
Dana W Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 That is assuming you have actually moved the *.shp file to the new PC. Quote
afrazawan Posted September 22, 2014 Author Posted September 22, 2014 how can I load via shape command? and how to save in path directory ? Quote
ReMark Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 Sorry, I should have said use the LOAD command not the SHAPE command. I corrected my post. Options > Files > Support File Search Path > Add > C:\ program files\ autodesk \ autocad 2012 \ folder name where your shape files are located goes here. Quote
