Gentile Romano Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 These linetypes no longer work in my drawings correctly. I haven't made any changes to the linetypes that I know of. Might be an issue with the ltypeshp.lin file. However, I didn't modify that file either. Can someone help with my problem? I am using AutoCAD 2013 I have load the ltypeshp.shx also................................... YZ Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 It looks to me like your linetype path is set to acad.lin, but your previously correct linetypes are actually in acadiso.lin The screen shot is different to the copy-and-pasted linetype definition that you posted. I would consolidate those files, or remove one from the Support folder while you are testing it. Make copies of them before you start though! Quote
Gentile Romano Posted September 14, 2014 Author Posted September 14, 2014 (edited) Sorry for the late reply I was much more busy with my work..................... the next day it is ok I can't understand what's wrong is it with the cad file or my AutoCAD software 2013 64 bit thanks Romano Edited September 14, 2014 by Gentile Romano more space Quote
YZ Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 So it is working correctly now? Well that is good. I don't know where the problem would have been, probably in the search paths. AutoCAD is fairly stable, but it is only as good as the library files it is pointing to. Are the .lin file or the .cuix file shared with any other users? Quote
Gentile Romano Posted September 15, 2014 Author Posted September 15, 2014 thanks yz for replied to my thread; No, the cad supported folder files are not shared with anyone? when I saw the error I should attach the cad file to my thread, but it's so big than 1MB ( possible to reduce it) I purge the file, many line types deleted, next day it seem ok...........
