Replace Attributes with the Correct Values

Good morning peeps...

asking for your kind assistance. I have attached here 2 files. One is the Exploded and the other is the Attribute Block to be used.

 

For some "silly" reason, our drafter inserted the exploded attributes, edit the Attribute tag with the correct value which should have been inputed in the value.

in the screenshot below :

 

the word SECTION is one word so as with the G,- and another G

so all in all

SECTION G-G composed of 4 words inputed in the TAG instead of the value.

 

We have a bunch of drawings here and is due end of next week.

just wondering if there is a better work around on this matter rather than opening it one by one and inputing the text. Please see attached files

 

is there a way for me to insert the Attribute Block, and the routine will replace the correct values from the "exploded" block" to the inserted AttBlock?

EDIT 2: How did ended up like this in the first place? anyhoo, looking at your sample drawing, The "DRAWING-TITLE-LINE-3" ATTDEF is broken down into 3. will be it always like that? or sometimes there's only 1 or

it should not be like that..

it should be 5 Drawing Title Lines (see X-SLB-A1_Title.dwg)

i'm guessing he copied that from somewhere maybe binded / exploded drawing.

Its fun writing this code.. too bad its too specific to your troublesome drawings to be generic

Don't you have the backup files from right before the draughtman started exploding the attributes?

we don't have...im guessing it was inserted as exploded and he type the contents in the TAG rather than in the values...

 

I think i have an idea right on top of my head. hang in there....
