getting values from openoffice to autocad through lisp

i am trying to get values from openoffice calc to autocad for automating drafting.

i expect somebody to explain the basics of this.

Assuming that you can export the data from OpenOffice Calc in a .csv file format you could then use a program like ASCPOINT.lsp to import the file into AutoCAD.

instead exporting to csv format, is there a way of reading values directly through lisp. An example of such is click2oo.vlx - a compiled lisp to export directly to openoffice from autocad. As designs involve more and more calculations, a spread sheet is more helpful. help me with this.

We have no idea of what your trying to achieve post some images what are you trying to draw, like Remark what can Openoffice export in terms of xl, csv, report files.txt, Access database etc. You need to do the home work about Openoffice.
