i am trying to get values from openoffice calc to autocad for automating drafting.

i expect somebody to explain the basics of this.

Assuming that you can export the data from OpenOffice Calc in a .csv file format you could then use a program like ASCPOINT.lsp to import the file into AutoCAD.

instead exporting to csv format, is there a way of reading values directly through lisp. An example of such is click2oo.vlx - a compiled lisp to export directly to openoffice from autocad. As designs involve more and more calculations, a spread sheet is more helpful. help me with this.
