greedy86
Good morning all, Just a quick question....haven't had to post in here for quite some time but something this morning has me baffled. Over the weekend I was supplied a new computer and as such....have had to reconfigure all my settings. However - when I go to print - the following message appears (see attached screen shot). The printer it talks off is with us no more, and we've got a new one now. Where can I go to set the new printer to the default? I'm assuming that's what I need to go to stop this message popping up everytime I print. Cheers
rkmcswain
The printer name is saved in the drawing, in fact it's saved in each layout. There is no "default" printer, unless you are dealing with "pre-AutoCAD 2000" drawings. So you can either rename your new printer PC3 file to match the old name, or change the printer each time you run across this in a layout. Once you save it, it will stick until you need to change it again.
