stevsmith Posted July 22, 2014 Posted July 22, 2014 Does SolidWorks have T-Splines like Inventor 2015? No. I take it that T-Splines is a new addition to Inventor, or an add-in perhaps? I haven't used inventor for over 3+ years now. Quote

SLW210 Posted July 22, 2014 Posted July 22, 2014 Why nut run Win 8 as a dual boot? That might solve some of your problems with the computer and virtualbox. Quote
pacificus Posted July 22, 2014 Author Posted July 22, 2014 Well, I have to give up and move on - I could not find anything wrong. Thank you very much for checking the model, I appreciate it. I am now fairly confident that ALGOR is corrupted or broken (files missing). I need to find the original disc containing it (image file) but am not confident I will be able to. I have now been able to analyse a very basic solid model in SW Simulation, but still not the original (the model in the files I uploaded). Quote

I am considering that but would need to sort a free HDD out in order to do so. I'll stick with SW for this project as I'm confident ALGOR is broken and not SW, so no need to fix Pro/e. I've used ALGOR in VB before with no problem whatsoever. Quote
