maratovich Posted July 5, 2014 Posted July 5, 2014 I was a bit suspicious that our friend in Russia has to come up with a separate plug-in to address this very annoying issue....some users are maybe luckier than other and use a printer which is fully recognized by Autocad - mine isn't (apparently). Have you tried the program I proposed? Why not use? If there is a problem - write them. Attach file .dwg for verification. Quote
xelaris Posted July 5, 2014 Author Posted July 5, 2014 Does it work for the 8 1/2" x 11" paper? That is the only way I can get mine to work from AutoCad. How about a driver update for the printer. Might work, if there is one available. At least Arthur hasn't done a lot of damage like Sandy did. The poster printing of my Canon is "recognized" by many other programs (in fact all basic software I've tried) except Autocad - so the update shouldn't come from the printer's side. Let's face it....Autocad is just too precise (****?) for casual jobs involving domestic printers.... Quote

I've downloaded but not installed/tried it yet....I don't know much about Autocad 2014 - it is a fresh installation and I'd rather spend a bit more time to learn about it before deciding to use/install a plug-in (or any extra software). Thanks for your help anyhow. Quote

Number of steps If the first time: Press 1: select the print area Press 2: Enter the number of sheets of A4 Press 3: Print If you previously wrote how many sheets: Press 1: select the print area Press 2: Print Much? tzframpton Posted July 5, 2014 Posted July 5, 2014 Adobe Reader XI has this capability built in. It's literally the only reason I have Adobe Reader still installed. See attached image: Quote
